An informal place on the internet for all information about the 1 year PGPM offered by SPJIMR. That is the intent of this blog. (For the puzzled few, SPJIMR stands for S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research. Also popularly refereed to as “SPJAIN” or “spjain”.)

This one year MBA program is targeted specifically at professionals with work experience of at least five years. The batch is further grouped by specialization into two:

1. Information Management – also known as IM
2. Operations Management – also known as OM

Currently the blog is run by the fifth batch of the program. Fifty six students, six plus years of average work experience, coming together from all corners of India. Yes this is what we are. In coming years the reins will be passed on to the future batches.

Batch 508, or PGPM2009; we are called by different names. You can see students coming from various companies in this batch with rich and diverse experience.

This blog is about our experiences en route to achieving a MBA degree from one of India’s reputed B Schools – S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research - Mumbai.
