This is one of its kind initiative taken by the PGPM Class of 2010. The event is a logical continuation of the series of Industry Integration sessions where more than 16 speakers of CxO level came to the institute shared their experiences with the students in the past 9 months.
The event is targeted to culminate the thoughts and ideas of academia and industry on the hottest issues that are topics of most of the b-debates.
Cheers to the Class of 2010 to take initiative and thanks a lot to the alumni to impregnate this thought!
PGPM Rocks!
Awesome effort. A great legacy that 609 will be leaving for the new batch.
Lets make it a grand success !!!!
Yes, Indeed Nitin.. One of its kind…
I am sure it will be a huge success..
“High expectations are the key to everything”, said Walt Disney. What started out in a chaotic classroom discussion, Samavesh 2010 has turned out to be the most anticipated event on campus. The participation from industry and academia is overwhelming. The effort and time that has gone into making it happen is commendable. Brilliant Effort, Team! Needless to say that it is going to end with DA-BANG!
One of the key take-aways from a B-School program is the exposure and the interaction with the “C” executives which one would not have had otherwise this early in their careers. An event like SAMAVESH 2010, which has been one of the most well thought and well planned events at SPJIMR, Mumbai is a platform for the academia to align itself with the latest happenings in the industry. Over the two days participants/audience will get to interact with several – “Sought After” executives who run the show in some of the most respected global firms, who will be spilling their thought and ideas on the most happening technologies and practices that are transforming the way business’s operate.
Let us appreciate the effort and thoughts put in by the PGPM Class of 2010 in formulating such a unique and open platform which shall leave all of us with thoughts to ponder upon.
I am sure Samavesh is gonna rock ..
A rare chance to listen to thought leaders from the industry meeting academia – an amalgamation that is sure to enlighten everyone present ..
Great work PGPM609 , keep it going !
Awesome amount of effort of gone into industry-academia interface at SPJIMR-PGPM throughout the year. The insights from the CxO level talks are a treasure of knowledge for all of us.
But this event is different. This is the biggest of the events for us where we get to interact with industry leaders and discuss burning issues of today.
Great job guys, lets make it happen !
Day 1 of Samavesh 2010 was flawless! The panel discussions were insightful and the general logistics were very well managed. Great going…..on to Day 2.
Looks like we need to adopt it as a practice to hold such wonderful discussions more often!
Today’s speakers were no doubt one of the best in their areas, whether was it the Financiers talking about where does the growth of India lies, or was it the set of Logistics experts sharing their experiences on whatz up for India.
Let us wait and watch what do the Marketer’s and IT people have to say in their respective areas.
Cheers!
And it just got better ! As the Marketers served and the IT Gurus took us to the clouds !!!
As Samavesh 2010 comes to a close, it is time to rejoice and reflect on this amazing event at campus and hope the legacy continues for many years to come ….
PGPM, you made everyone proud !
